5 Stars!!! This is exactly what I wanted for a Paula Quinn novel and a historical romance. This book has everything I am looking for, strong women, strong men, some real historical characters and events mixed in and of course a fabulous romance. Paula does not disappoint with this book. Abigail is strong and determined and no ones fool. Daniel is the Queens favorite and loyal to a fault but also smart and sincere, not to mention handsome of course. It was a joy to watch Abigail break down Daniel's walls even as he broke down hers. This book is full of action, more then I was expecting and at times I could not catch my breath, and I loved every minute of it. This book will have everything a Paula Quinn fan will love including many scenes with some of our other favorites characters from past books. Thank you so much for another great story.
